How do I migrate Premium data from Enterprise to Stratus?
Data migration refers to the transfer of return data from Enterprise to Stratus and is available for the Premium and Forms+ products only. This video walks through the full migration process.
All data that is migrated to Stratus will be sourced in as overrides. Additionally, returns and schedules will be locked following migration to preserve data.

You will need to create the export files for your companies in Enterprise and then import them into Stratus.
Create the Export File for Data Migration in Enterprise

Data migration captures all return data present at the time the export file is created. You will not need to migrate data more than once unless you continue to prepare returns in Enterprise
How do I migrate my municipal data from Enterprise to Stratus?
There is no data migration for the Municipal product. However, you can import or copy and paste data into the Input Schedule within Stratus to populate your municipal returns.
Overpayments for KY, may be copied from the summary of taxes in Enterprise to the applicable input schedule in Stratus
Do I need to migrate all my companies and tax years at one time?
You may select which companies and tax years you want to migrate and use in Stratus for Premium Tax. Allocator, Municipal and Forms+ are now only available in Stratus.
Do I need to follow a specific naming convention when creating my export files?
The file names are automatically generated during the export process. A file will be created for each Company, Tax year, product, and module (if applicable).
Exported files have a standard naming convention of 2-digit tax year_FEIN_Product_Company Type_Module (ex: 25_99-9999999_Premium_Life_Annual.DBXP)
How do I verify that my data in Enterprise matches the values now contained in Stratus?
Every field in Enterprise for each equivalent schedule and return has been mapped to the corresponding fields in Stratus. Because each value is sourced into Stratus as an override and the returns are locked, certain calculations will not run. Our recommendation would be to verify the data contained on your most complex or largest returns and perform a review of the data in the schedules.
Data migration is only available for Tax Years 2023 and forward, what happens to our historical data prior to 2023?
You will still have access to all of your company’s historical data in Premium Pro Enterprise.
